Dr. Moran Cerf - Science Fiction Vs Reality!

Dr. Moran Cerf expert hacker and neuroscientist talks about Science Fiction vs real science and how things like "Predictive Behaviour", Dream Mapping and more, no longer just exist in Sci-Fi movies. Dr. Cerf is a neuroscientist and business professor at the Kellogg School of Management and the neuroscience program at Northwestern University. His academic research uses methods from neuroscience to understand the underlying mechanisms of our psychology, behavior changes, emotion, decision making, and dreams.

According to Dr. Cerf, a computers ability to read thoughts... are no longer science fiction!

In recent research, Dr. Cerf studies patients undergoing brain-surgery by recording the activity of individual nerve cells using electrodes implanted in the patient's brain. The study shows potential in Dream Mapping and Predictive Behaviour . The uses for this can be applied to many areas of human development but he warns that there is also potential for misuse, as one could be mislead into believing that they have free will when actually they are being manipulated. The ability to erase peoples memories and re-program them are also theorised to be possible.

Dr.Cerf also talks about his time as a hacker and actually robbing banks, as well as his influence in films with past projects "Falling Water", "Mr. Robot", (USA Network), "Limitless" and "Bull" (CBS).
